Dear Chaim, what is diffrence between Autism and Asperger's Syndrome?

Asperger's Syndrome is on the Autism Spectrum. It is a condition where people may be intellectually high functioning, but have a great deal of difficulty with social skills and often appear very socially awkward. They lack instincts and skills to help them express their thoughts and feelings and notice others’ feelings. They may have trouble making appropriate eye contact, often have expressionless facial expressions, and can have very rigid and fixed routines.

I strongly suspected that Yakov had Asperger's Syndrome long before anybody else here realized that this guy posed a problem.
