Miles Davis, who was a drug addict, indeed composed garbage. But what do you think about Jimi Hendrix?

I'm not speaking for Chaim or anything, but I'll give my opinion. I think that Jimi Hendrix was very skilled at playing the white-invented guitar, but his songs had little quality other than his guitar skills.

Take this song for example.
I think it sounds cool, but that's just because of his guitar playing. If you took away the instruments, the song would be no different from what Chaim probably hears on the subway most days. Also, All Along the Watchtower which is another one of his famous songs was written by Bob Dylan.

Written and performed by Bob Dylan. Hendrix only covered it.

I know that, but in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the greatest songs, #48 is listed as " All Along the Watchtower, Jimi Hendrix."

Rolling Stone Magazine's lists are such a farce and hardly authoritative. They also usually coincide with some promotion that they're having.

Bop diddley do bop bop, bop bop, beadley do di boop bop boop bop...

Jazz sucks, period.  One would need to be on drugs to see its merit.

Chaim I see some of your points in answer to my question about killing the Hamas leader in Dubai.  Clearly it would be more efficient to execute Hamas and Fatah terrorists in Israel's prisons.  However, I never meant that it was a substitute or made up for all the wrong things Bibi has done.  More importantly it is not a worthless move.  It puts terrorsists on notice that there is no amount of time and no place that makes them safe.  If terrorists have to keep looking over their shoulder it gives them less opportunity to kill Jews.
We all need to pray for Barack Obama, may the Lord provide him a safe move back to Chicago in January 2,013.
