Malema Goes Ape, Kicks Out BBC Reporter
While the South African media is busy making drama out of AWB Secretary General Andres Visagie's televised outburst, ANCYL leader Julius Malema had a tirade of his own today, throwing a BBC reporter out of his press conference for daring to comment on what the "Kill the Boer" singer said.
The above videos (Link Below) show the closing seconds of a verbal altercation that ended in Malema kicking Jonah Fisher, who is based at the BBC's Johannesburg bureau, out of his press conference.
At the news conference in the ANC's Luthuli House in Johannesburg, Malema had been criticizing Zimbabwe opposition party MDC for "talking from air-conditioned offices in Sandton," when the Fischer interrupted his flow to point out that Malema too lives in Sandton.
Malema first tells Fischer he was in a "revolutionary building" and that the reporter knew nothing about the revolution - referring to the anti-apartheid struggle.
Mr Fisher then replied, "They (the MDC) are not welcome in Sandton, but you are."
"Don't bring your White tendencies here!," Malema told him, "here you behave or else you jump!."
Malema then called security to throw him out, while calling the BBC reporter a "bloody agent".
