Would anyone know where I can find immigration stats for NYC?

I'm trying to do some research, and I can't seem to find the number of immigrants for for queens county in NYC,  for each year from  1970 to the present.  All I find are figures for the entire US or they don't go back far enough. I need data for at least 20 years.   I also can't find real estate price stats for queens for any length of time.  I know we have quite a few economists/ statisticians  on the forum  from previous posts.

Statistics can be very difficult to find sometimes. I wish I knew where you should look.
