Greetings!

I'm an Italian-Brazilian living in Sweden. I'm an atheist, but I'm a strong defender of Israel. My interest for all things Jewish stems from my maternal roots. My grandmother used to say that her grandmother was a "marrano", i.e. a descendent of the Sephardi Jews forced to convert to Christianity in the Iberian peninsula. Hopefully my unabashed secularism is not going to be an impediment to my enjoyment of these great forums. Thanks for having me!

Yep, I'm half Italian (family roots in Viareggio, Tuscany), half Portuguese (family roots in the Province of Tras-os-Montes), born in Brazil, married to a Swede. And I love Mario Bros too. Thanks all for the welcome!
