I am not that surprised but it seems that the issue of whether we should mirandaize {read them their rights, which include the 'right to remain silent'} them. I think that in the area of suspicion of being behind a plot of mass destruction the question of Mirandaizing a suspect is immaterial. The immediate threat to public safety far over-rides a suspects right to 'remain silent'....
What if the 'suspect' terrorist actually knows about another bomb or other device of mass destruction and asks to be mirandaized. During this delay there will be many innocent American lives lost... I would say that if there is sufficient circumstantial evidence to suspect a person then it should be OK to use whatever means necessary to extract information from said suspect.
