(IsraelNN.com) According to the latest numbers released by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics, Israel’s Jewish majority has dropped 1.8% since 2000.

In 2005, Jews made up 76% of the State of Israel, compared to 77.8% in 2000.

Israel’s Muslim population has risen 1.1%, from 15.2% to 16.3% during the same period. The percentage of those claiming no religious affiliation has also risen – and is attributed to the influx of relatives of Jews from the former Soviet Union.

i heard rabbi Kahane say so many times: "do the arabs have the right to become a majority in Israel, yes or no?" and every time i thought to myself- hey, they dont even have the right to be about 20% the are now! these 20% are felt exactly like 49%, leaving Jews the single spare percent we need to keep the state from becoming a muslim one.

many argued agains Kahane that the arabs will never be a majority- well, it doesnt really matter, they dont have to be 50% to be lethal to Israel. Just imagine Israel with 40% of them, if the current 20 is not enough.

Kahane was right!
