Sullivan, Yaakov This American of Irish Catholic background converted to traditional Judaism in 1968 while a student at McGill University. It's been downhill for Judaism and Israel ever since! When he's not tinkering with Carthusian spirituality or performing in AIDS black comedy routines, Yaakov sends email after email to online publications bashing Israel. "Israel is doing all it can at the moment to strengthen the Palestinian radical groups so that any peace plan will be undermined and they can continue with their settlement expansion and land confiscation..." He also commented on and justified the rising anti-Jewish harassment and physical attacks upon European Jewry, "It is exacerbated by the conduct of the Israeli military in the occupied territories." How interesting and telling is it that he excuses Muslim attacks upon European Jewry because of Israel's harsh treatment of rampaging Arab "Palestinians" terrorists and their supporters yet never points out that European Jews are not attacking Europe's Muslims as payback for Arab/Muslim terrorism against Israelis!
Sullivan signed on to the Columbia/Barnard Student Divestment Campaign petition calling for economic isolation of Israel. He and others are "appalled by the human rights abuses against Palestinians at the hands of the Israeli government, the continual military occupation and colonization of Palestinian territory by Israeli armed forces and settlers, the forcible eviction of Palestinians from their homes, and the demolition of Palestinian dwellings, neighborhoods and towns. Then it gets real interesting. They "categorically condemn the loss of any innocent life, Israeli or Palestinian." But then they "call on Columbia University (1) to use its influence--political and financial--to encourage the United States government to suspend its military aid and arms sales to Israel, and (2) to divest from all companies that manufacture arms and other military hardware sold to Israel, as well from companies that sell such arms and military hardware to Israel. The petition condemns the loss of both Israeli and Arab "Palestinian" life but only targets Israel in their petition!
Sullivan also heaps high praise upon Rachel Corrie, calling her a "peace activist." This is a joke. It is also pathetic. But what else would be expected from a Self-Hating Israel-Threatening [converted] Jew!
Sullivan played a flamboyant gay character in the play, "A Queer Carol & Santa Claus Is Coming Out." He also signed a one-sided petition for "U.S. Jewish Solidarity with Muslim and Arab Peoples of the Middle East"... which was nothing less than a full-fledged "mugging" of Israel!
