He was a troll. I am glad he was banned. Maybe he learned something, but maybe not.
I think he got a lot of Ahavat Yisrael* from people who were willing to take the time to hear his quackpot theories and, at times painstakingly,refute them. I think he did give up on a few of his ideas and admitted he was wrong... about Khazars = Jews/Jews = Khazars, at least.
*hope he remembers that.
