He says that Obama cut ties with Jeremiah Wright because of his anti-American views, but he neglects to mention that Obama only did so after many years of knowing full well about them, when it was politically good for Obama to do so.
I don't agree with allowing men to use the women's restroom for safety reasons for the women. However it sounds like people at the school were really sadistic in the way they went about treating this guy (grinning while he was crying) and that's just not right. They could have had school security go with him to protect him or gotten more proactive about defending him from violence since he needed to use the men's restroom. A school should protect its students from violence no matter what.
About the driver's license thing, he sort of brought that upon himself by his choice to transition. I really don't like the idea of people having that kind of surgery or hormone treatments to grow breasts, etc. I wish there could be an effective treatment that helped someone to feel "at home" in their own, healthy natural body without major genital surgery.
I heard there is a disorder called Body Integrity Identity Disorder where people feel that a limb, an eye, etc. doesn't belong to their body, like somehow their internal map of their body is different from their actual body, and they feel desperate to get rid of the unwanted body part. Apparently there are a lot of similarities between this and transexuals. If they can learn to treat BIID, maybe one day they can help these other people too.
