Joan, since Brent Bozell launched the 2010“Tell The Truth!” campaign, the largest MRC bias-fighting initiative in our 23-year history, we have delivered nearly 150,000 petitions to The Washington Post and NBC – calling them out and putting them on notice for their warped and biased coverage of the immigration debate.
The MRC Action team has also faced-off against the media’s decidedly slanted coverage of the Ground Zero mosque debate.
Now we are taking on 60 Minutes, a show that for more than four decades has crafted a reputation as being a hard-hitting, no-nonsense investigative news show. Unfortunately, if that investigation leads them to misdeeds on the Left, hard hitting quickly turns to whitewashing.
Our internal investigation showed that 60 Minutes broadcasts from January 2006 to September 2010 demonstrated an extremely biased pattern of soft interviews and promotional language for the Left – misleading tens of millions of Americans in the process.
Now, it’s time for action!
