Cyrus is a Fakestinian suicide bomber for the morality of the world's preteen girls. If America was sane this creature would be airlifted to her friends in Ramallah and Tulkarem, whose residents would doubtless be very grateful for a woman showing more than her eyes (that is if they are not currently occupied with a goat). But most Americans are so self-hating that this walking HIV and herpes culture dish will probably get a Grammy... if not the Nobel Peace Prize.

Miley Cyrus’s New Video Makes Her ‘Every Parents’ Worst Nightmare’

As the late comedian Bill Hicks might say, “Miley Cyrus has become another fevered ego tainting our collective unconsciousness.”
Cyrus’s new video “Who Owns My Heart” has caught the eye of the Parents Television Council, which has been familiar with her since she was “Hannah Montana” on the Disney Channel.  The PTC has condemned the 17-year-old Cyrus for her sexualized performance in the video, where she crawls around on a bed and is groped by some dude while wearing a revealing outfit.  That’s how they’re hyping up this thing.
But see, I’M a parent and I’ve been hearing about Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus for years, too!  So, I checked out the video for myself and I think that one has to be really uptight to find something wrong with it.  And if someone DOES find something wrong with it, I suspect it’s really only a reflection of what is wrong with them.
The truth is that Ms. Cyrus can not be Hannah Montana forever if she wants to remain a rock star/diva.  She’s going to be 18 relatively soon.  And so, she has to find a way to divorce herself from the kid persona of the past.  While her choice to become sexualized is a bad one, the reason for doing it is to divorce herself from her Hannah Montana persona.  TBut like I said, there could’ve been many ways for her to do separate herself from her Hannah Montana alter-ego that would be more respectable.
In any case, I’m sure the condemnation from the Parent Television Council can only be a good sign to her and her agents, because they and their children are no longer her target audience.
But that isn’t to say it’s caused some awkward moments for me as a parent.  Recently I was at a barber shop, waiting for the wife to get her hair done.  My daughter and I were perusing some celebrity magazines (that’s all they had) and we came across a photo of Miley Cyrus dressed in a skimpy outfit.  My daughter, upon seeing this, looks up at me and says, “Dad, why is Hannah Montana dressed like that?”
I’m usually not shy about explaining things, so I just said, “She’s trying to show that she’s a grownup now, probably because she sees her time as a child star is just about finished.”
Of course, since my daughter is still a little tot, my explanation fell on deaf ears.  So, I re-explained it and just said, “She doesn’t want to be Hannah Montana anymore.”

Last time I saw Miley Cyrus on TV was on Hannity show some months back.
She was on with her dad Billy Ray aka trailer trash, discussing now life is tough being a teenager and in the spotlight all the time.
I don't know why we dwell on this issue much, but she has sold her self for $$$, in the process she's making other mindless kids sin as well.

The "control" has to be one of a "moral" control, preferably done by the studios and corporations themselves, but a governmental "censorship" board like existed during and after WWII is the only way it will work.

The media all made tons of money during that kind of government, but they knew there was a "line" over which they dare not cross.

Sure...there was always an "underground" supply of "adult" party record albums with lewd humor by artists such as "Red" Foxx, but in those days MGM, Capitol, United Artists, and the other music corporations produced decent art rather than pornographic sensationalism.

The eternal and infernal battle between "freedom of speech" and "the free market" vs the right for communities to set for themselves minimal standards of what is acceptable to sell.

Example:  Opioids by Rx are acceptable for medical treatments.  Heroin 'usage' is illegal.
                 Sex by consenting adults preferably married is acceptable.  Lewd displays with
                 pornographic overtones should not be sold as consumer products.

The younger generations in the West have grown up taking for granted that anyone can behave any way they choose and sell it as well as if anything is "art" if someone will pay for it.

Oh, well that's something different.  I thought you were suggesting some kind of monetary controls.  With this formulation, yeah, there should be some kind of ethical oversight... but values are so eroded, people don't really see this stuff as a problem anymore.

People, don't understimate what someone like Cyrus (yimach schma) or her older contemporaries like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry (yimach schmam) can do. Someone might call it "harmless immorality", but soul-destroying is more like it. If you don't think that ruining somebody's life and soul with filth, quite likely damning them to hell in the process, is bad enough (which it is), do consider that someone with a total moral vacuum will have it filled some way or another--likely with Islam or Nazism. Cyrus and Co. are helping to sew the seeds of a worldwide Fourth Reich whether or not they know it or care.
