בס''ד

Ynet, the newspaper web site for Yediot Ahronot (Israel's largest newspaper), has a large article attacking Chaim Ben Pesach for making videos that "incite" against Yitzchak Rabin ys"v. How can we incite against someone who has been dead for 15 years?

But most of the responses to the article from ordinary Israeli Jews (responses are located below the article) are supportive of our position in one way or another.

Here is the article in Hebrew:

Great News Indeed!
Chaim, maybe you can ask all the Hebrew JTFers to sign up to Ynet and comment as well!

"כולכם הייתם שוחים היום (ללא אינטרנט) בים התיכון "

What does this comment mean?   Swimming in the mediteranean?   Was that one some kind of joke?

Oh I see, he was trying to say we'd be in the sea without rabin, I guess.

Other comments are basically blaming rabin for oslo and the terror.

I said to my Israeli friend today at work:

"Happy Rabin Day!"...

He did not laugh... I told him that I hoped that the Israeli people would get over the Rabin thing, its been 15 years and the man was not a saint.

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
Duet 16:13-14

No publicity is bad publicity! I have a feeling that average Israelis are getting sick and tired of the official Rabin-worship.

Good publicity ! Their claim is so ludicrous that they are making fools of themselves.

It means "all of you would have been swimming (without internet) in the mediteranean"

What's the problem with 'inciting' against Rabin ?

Are we to bite our tongues as others celebrate his life and 'legacy' and not mention the tragedies his 'leadership' and 'peace making' brought upon Israel ?

Are we to lament his loss of life and turn a blind eye to the spilling of blood and loss of life that he brought upon our brothers and sisters ?

What sort of hypocrisy and revisionism is at work here ?

Should America have a Benedict Arnold day ?

No, I will not lament his assassination.

There is only one reason I feel a tiny drop of remorse over Rabin's demise.

When he shook Arafat's hand in the Rose Garden, it was obvious that despite all his baloney speeches and posturing, he knew he was doing wrong and hated that moment.

There was still the most miniscule spark of a Jew within him.

But in the end he can not be forgiven for his actions, and we should not be reluctant to openly say so.

That's not incitement, it's just being honest.

Wow. Those two pictures are very similar to one other. Looks like history is about to repeat itself again.

In an ideal world, the whole of Israel would mourn the death of kahane, and the self hating leftist Jews could not find 1000 people to mourn Rabin.
No trait is more justified than revenge in the right time and place- Meir Kahane

I don't know the exact number but most were there for the music artists and not for the worship ceremony for Rabin
