Nancy Reagan to host debate for 2012 GOP hopefuls

Republicans hoping to take back the White House in 2012 will have an audition of sorts at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.


Former first lady Nancy Reagan announced today she will invite the leading 2012 GOP presidential hopefuls to a debate at the library in spring 2011. The debate will be co-hosted by NBC News and Politico.

"Ronnie would be thrilled that the road to the White House will begin at his presidential library," Mrs. Reagan said in a statement.

A second Republican debate will be held at the library before the Super Tuesday primaries.

Mrs. Reagan and the library, located in Simi Valley, Calif., hosted two debates in 2008, including the first held that season for GOP hopefuls.

We're sure there will be many events next year at the Reagan library: 2011 is the 100th anniversary of the late president's birth.

Chaim,   this info regarding NBC News playing a major role in the first Republican Presidential Debate in 2011 reminds me of what you have talked about previously.     The major influence that the left wing media had in the Republican Primary process in 2008.

In essence,  the left wing media contributed greatly to John McCain winning the Republican Nomination.  

Basically,   if the Republican Party stays on its current course,   a similar situation will more likely than not occur in 2012.       Which of course will greatly increase the chances of the hideous Barack Hussein Obama remaining in the oval office beyond January,  2013.

For 2012, the Bolshevik media is starting to promote Willard Romney for the Republican Presidential nomination. (Willard is "Mitt" Romney's real name.) The media is telling us that Willard is the frontrunner. Why? Because as Michael Reagan has correctly pointed out, Willard can't relate to anyone earning less than a million dollars a year. Willard is an elitist snob worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Also, Willard is the most leftwing of the possible Republican candidates. Like McCain, Willard is the ultimate RINO. As the campaign progresses, we will expose how Willard has been a longtime supporter of abortion and the "gay" agenda. As Governor of the People's Republic of Massachusetts, Willard proposed and enacted a socialist health program that is almost identical to Obamacare. Finally, Willard was a Mormon missionary who zealously tried to bring converts to this cult. Many evangelical Christians may stay home and not vote in November 2012 if the choice is between the Muslim Obama and the Mormon missionary Willard.

The media would love to see Sarah Palin as the Republican nominee in 2012. If that happened, Obama would be re-elected in a landslide, G-d forbid. That being said, I think that Sarah Palin should be our number one target, not Willard "Mitt" Romney. As establishment as he is, I don't think he is nearly as horrible as McCain or Sarah Palin. The media wants the Buchanan lover Sarah Palin to get the GOP nomination and unfortunately it has succeeded so far in making her the frontrunner among Republican voters (Huckabee is second). I posted an establishment media poll (Yahoo News) yesterday that identified Huckabee as the most likable GOP candidate with average voters; Palin was last place.

I am not as sold on Huckabee yet as you are, Chaim, but it is looking like all of your predictions about his electability are correct. I will support him for this reason, despite some big misgivings. Still, I emphasize that Palin is the person we need to be working hard to discredit, not Romney.

I personally think sarah pailin is a disgusting woman that chose to have a baby at her age with the knowlage of her kid becoming mentally challanged/. There are people who for religious reasons won't have sex with protection.

Also,  what's wrong with someone having a Special Needs Baby in her 40's?     Like Sarah Palin's son Trig,   my brother has Down Syndrome and was born when my Mother was in her 40's.

Most Special Needs people have the potential to live a fulfilling life.   While they have major obstacles in life,   they also have strengths that most people don't have.     The non-Special Needs people who attempt to help and relate to Special Needs people almost always benefit as a result.    It can and should be a win-win situation.     

There are many terrific organizations who specialize in helping the Special Needs Community.   Yet,   many more dollars are needed,   including for research.   

It's possible that G-d created Special Needs people to test others.
