I would like to know what you guys think about this book I have read.
I found it to be very informative and has helped me a lot in getting myself on track.
I am however a bit concerned about what type of motives Kevin Trudeau has as to go against the establishment.
I believe he's totally comminted to health and wellbeing however something is just not kosher with him...

what a salesman that guy is!

I watch his infomercials for like a half-hour.

I agree with you that there may not be something kosher about him

I bought the book and had a membership to his site.

I think when I cancelled (9.95/month) the next month I had 2 fraudulent charges on my card! Could have been coincidence...

Strange though...seems to have some sensible advice but yeah you're right something a little funny about the guy.

I think he wants to make money I guess?

He has a new book about weight loss I might buy but not sure.

But I agree with him almost 95% about a lot of the stuff he says.

I vaguely remember something about Mr. Trudeau being in trouble with the law, and his infomercials being banned.

I have both of his books and I have started to do some of the things he suggested...
so far it's going OK. I think he might be a scientologist or atheist

JDL4Ever do you have some specific info. on this CLOWN because I want to tell my friend who got me the book
to stop using it also, thanks guys!

P.S. I'm in excellent shape right now but I still want to get back to playing shape like I was in college.I decided to get some help, so I incorporated many things to make it happen. One thing that I was skeptical was this book that people swear by. thanks for the help, Do you recommend an alternative?

Trudeau has a criminal record. He spent time in jail for credit card fraud in the 90's. After that he got in trouble many times with the FTC for making false claims on the radio about some other scams he thought up of. Here is a list of some scams he got in legal trouble with before and don't tell me that he's not a scam artist: "Mega Memory System", "Doctor Callahan's Addiction Breaking System", "Action Reading," "Eden's Secret Nature's Purifying Product" and "Howard Berg's Mega Reading". I heard him talk about his book on TV and it is just obvious the guy is a scam artist. He said that you shouldn't use medicine for cancer, just use his herbal stuff among other crazy nonsense. Also his book doesn't list any info about anything, it requires you to pay him money and subscribe to his online site for the "secrets" that he writes about in his book. Let alone he made up everything in his book, I doubt he lists any research or real sources to back up his claims that some herbs can cure you of cancer or diabetes. He's a player. He knows if you tell the Shvartas that some herbs will cure them of every disease on the planet, and make up a conspiracy theory that the drug companies are out to get you, they'll believe you and buy your book.

You really did your homework on this guy. I appreciate all that you told me, I happen to be in the medical field myself and I know that the stuff he talks about is Taboo.... however desperate times call for desperate measures and people will fall for his snake oil bit.
I have to say that there are a few point which I have implemented in my diet and I feel a difference but I would never pay $$ for his advice or news letter.

I thought the stuff he said about the supermarket industry was interesting, that in every single item of food in major supermarkets they add stuff to make you fat and hungry.

I sort of agreed and it sort of resonated with my frustration at not being able to find good healthy food, even in a huge supermarket.

I also like his rants against pharmaceutical companies which ARE a huge, disgusting, corrupt scam.

I think this guy is part scam artist, partly genuine but would probably not buy from his company again.

I think they did scam my credit card for about $20 when I cancelled the site.

I don't think that is specific to one race - everyone is looking for a great natural remedy.

Didn't barnum say that there is a sucker born every minute.
That includes me - I bought one of his books for my parents. My Mom has terrible Rhuematoid Arthritis and she can't take many of the standard medication right now.

Yes.

I haven't read the book but I saw an infomercial of it. Often, infomercials tend to be only interested in money, but in this one, most of the information made sense.

On Trudeau's website though, you have to prescribe to become a member if you want to get information.

To tell you the truth I only started reading his book - I haven't picked it up lately.
Now that you have asked...I guess I should really read it and see if what he suggests makes any sense in my Mother's case.

- I was lured into buying the book - and then I didn't even read it all the way through.
It is very hard - when medical doctor's really don't have safe answer to your medical problems. You grasp at straws. Alot of the treatment they suggest come with risks. How do you choose to treat one problem with the risk of creating a bigger one? It's tough.

Trudeau was recently on a mainstream station and was discussion a book about a diet they don't want you to know about.

He claims that the hypothalmus is the key for causing people to lose weight; he says it's part of the brain that controls the appetite.

But isn't what he says just the same thing as people managing their food portions?
