Clinton + Gates: Bashar Assad is a Reformer

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the U.S. won’t enter into the internal conflict in Syria the way it has in Libya.

“No,” Clinton said, when asked on the CBS “Face the Nation” program if the U.S. would intervene in Syria’s unrest. Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad’s security forces clashed with protesters in several cities yesterday after his promises of freedoms and pay increases failed to prevent dissent from spreading across the country.

Clinton said the elements that led to intervention in Libya -- international condemnation, an Arab League call for action, a United Nations Security Council resolution -- are “not going to happen” with Syria, in part because members of the U.S. Congress from both parties say they believe Assad is “a reformer.”

“What’s been happening there the last few weeks is deeply concerning, but there’s a difference between calling out aircraft and indiscriminately strafing and bombing your own cities,” Clinton said, referring to Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi’s attacks on the Libyan people, “than police actions which, frankly, have exceeded the use of force that any of us would want to see.”

How pro-muslim nazi do you have to be to believe Bashar Assad is in any way a "reformer"? He leads a totalitarian arab socialist nazi party just like Saddam Hussin. Syria supports terrorism around the world far, far more than Libya ever did. It couldn't be more clear that Obama, Clinton and these other scum support those who are the most anti-Israel. So it is fine to use "police" to wantonly murder people in the streets for protesting but don't dare use artillery or jets to do it. Killed is killed, regardless of how it is done.

It is also clear that Obama's intentions are to create a pan-islamic islamic movement in the maghreb aka North Africa. I am certain after Gaddafi is killed and replaced by a more al Qaeda-friendly "rebel" government Obama will focus his attention on Algeria and Morocco. It is clear Obama is toppling any muslim country with a dictator who doesn't ascribe to the idea of a pan-islamic caliphate. While Assad is more secular, they openly support islamic movements like Hamas and Hezbollah whose goal is to destroy Israel and spread islam.

We need to seriously pray for the destruction of the Obama administration.
