Terror groups promote N.Y. Times column
Official websites feature piece by Thomas Friedman

JERUSALEM – The three major Palestinian terrorist organizations yesterday featured on their official websites the latest New York Times column by the newspaper's writer, Thomas Friedman, WND has learned.

The terrorist sites featured an Arabic translation of the column, in which Friedman calls for Israel to cede the strategic West Bank to a Palestinian state.

The West Bank borders Israel's major population centers and is within rocket range of the country's international airport. It contains biblical, historically Jewish cities, such as Hebron and Beit El.

The Palestinian Authority, meanwhile, is currently in a unity deal that brings Hamas into the government.

An Arabic version of Freidman's column, entitled, "Bibi and Barack" was posted on the official websites of the Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist groups.

Moheet.com, featuring the column, is the Islamic Jihad's site. The group took responsibility for every suicide bombing in Israel since 2005.

Friedman's piece was also on Hamas' AlReesala.ps site and Kofiapress.ps, the site of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist organization.

"Israel needs to use every ounce of its creativity to explore ways to securely cede the West Bank to a Palestinian state," stated Freidman in the column.

Freidman claimed that if Israel retained the West Bank, the Jewish state would face "the prospect of having a minority of Jews permanently ruling over a majority of Arabs – between Israel and the West Bank, which could lead to Israel being equated with apartheid South Africa all over the world."

The columnist's claim does not take into account recently released demographic studies that show the Palestinian Authority inflated its own birth rates, deflated death rates, failed to account for emigration, and that the Palestinian Bureau of Statistics even counted its population in eastern Jerusalem twice.

The studies predict that in 20 years Jews will outnumber Arabs by two-to-one even if all territories are maintained.
