Sounds ok, but how will it stop dozens  of missles fired at once from Hezbolla?  Also very expensive to manufacture, I can only imagine what each missle costs to produce.  Also it's not going to be in sevice for a few years.

Seems easier and far  less expensive  for Israel to retake the land from where the missles were fired from, and annex it once and for all!  There needs to be a price to pay for firing mislles on Israel, year after year.   Massive carpet bombing followed by annexation, followed by massive expulsion of Arabs is absolutely due.  In addition, Israel's size would increase tremendously.  The Arabs  will think twice about firing missles again, I'll tell you that.

I think it is necessary for Israel to develop its own indigenous air defence systems for the full spectrum of threats. We are going to face war including attacks on civilian population no matter what.
