Breslovers Pray at Talmudic Sages Tomb!!!
« on: June 15, 2011, 01:40:42 AM »
I am so proud of the Breslov Chassidic Jewish sect. They boldly pray at Holy sites throughout the Holy Land regardless of how 'dangerous' it is to do so. Admittedly this group of 100 Breslovers required IDF security in order to ensure that they would be unharmed by the savages because this sages Tomb lies near the Lebanese border.

Chassidim Pray at Rav Ashi's Tomb
by Elad Benari

A group of about 100 Breslov Chassidim entered the tomb of the Talmud compiler Rav Ashi on Monday, where they held a special prayer service.

Rav Ashi’s tomb is located at Tziporen, near the Lebanese border, and as such the prayer service required approval by Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who is currently on an official visit in China. Rabbi Meir Porush, head of the United Torah Judaism Knesset faction, made the entrance to the tomb possible after he submitted an approval request to Barak.

Rabbi Chaim Reicher, chairman of the Yesod Haolam organization which initiated the event, thanked Rabbi Porush for his hard work in ensuring the prayer took place.

IDF forces, accompanied by tanks, secured the worshipers while they prayed.

You shall make yourself the Festival of Sukkoth for seven days, when you gather in [the produce] from your threshing floor and your vat.And you shall rejoice in your Festival-you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, who are within your cities
