I hope the baby will have an opportunity to grow up somewhat normally even with the strange family. In Israel there's a good chance they will be exposed to Biblical morality and be able to make a moral choice based on that even though the country is largely secular.

That's a muslim response to this kind of thing. If someone needs help and isn't directly hurting other people why would you burn them instead of offering help?

I hate to say this but I think the majority of psychologists/psychiatrists are more messed up than their patients.

I notice that psychologists and counselors are often creepy, unstable, and confused themselves. Weird types are drawn to careers where they can give personal advice.

I think that is true for some of the people. But remember anyone, anyone can call themselves a "counselor" or a "therapist" This includes people who dont even have a degree!

A lot of times what people need is just someone to listen to them and it helps them work out their problems on their own if they can just talk it out with somebody who is empathetic. You don't really need a degree for that. However if it's something serious like schizophrenia then they need a real psychiatrist to help them.

Yes but this woman is calling herself a 'counselor.' If she didn't go and have a child, maybe one could saw, she is trying to help people who suffer from the same gender dysphoria, but look at what she is doing to herself here, getting pregnant, after having transformed, to now raise a child under these corcumstances. It's not exercising the best of the judgment.

You're right I don't think she should be giving advice to other people about that topic at the very least and probably not advising others at all. I imagine if she does she probably encourages them to 'transition' rather than to try to help them accept who they are, which is what should be done.
