A smoking time bomb exactly, It is just common thinking that the EU will end in war. Unfortunatly it does not look as though there is a way out of this mess, The EU has an army and a powerful one at that and it has a stack of Europes billions and the power to control Europes laws and immigration. They have the power to do whatever the hell they want and we have a slim chance to stop it.
