I found that on a random search about the differences between Northern folk and Southern folk.  It is quite interesting how language is so regional.

I honestly thought that I would score pretty evenly between the two.  Boy was I wrong.

Yeah, I can't stand the fact that I can remember the cambells soup commercial jingle from when I was a kid.  What a waste of space and a distraction TV is.  The sages had no such distractions and look at what they were able to accomplish.  TV is a mind poisoner.

If someone is a really great mind, then I think they will rise to the top anyway. I do think a lot of what's on tv is total garbage but it's not bad in itself necessarily.

Sorry, I don't have a great mind.  I am just a regular dude and I need all of the help I can get.  I am not saying TV isn't useful or entertaining, but it certainly provides quite a bit of distraction.  I wish I could fill up that space with other stuff.  That is all.

I threw out my TV almost seven years ago.... It is possible to live without it...
