From the article: A jarring 44% of it's citizens are prejudiced or hostile toward Jews- from a research study by the Italian Parliament.

All I have to say is: Half of Italy hates us.

The other half don't hate us that much. lol

I have some people who are extremely dear to me and who are also Jewish; and the are living in Italy..... it makes me upset and worried.

They should be alright. Probably better off there than in Israel. Did you the video of Arabs throwing big rocks at Jewish cars, trying to kill the drivers? And the Jewish government lets the Arabs get away with it.

I dont think so.... What kind of comment is that? Even if there are a lot in NY it is wrong to say this without some poll to back that up...

I'm sorry ItalianZionist but there was a post I made which was removed which just demonstrated how evil the Italian nation has become. There are mainstream media outlets which are supporting Holocaust denial. The level of antisemitism in Italy will not be tolerated.

Faurisson first appeared on the scene in the 1970s and he is now known as “the dean of deniers”. Arab and Iranian “experts” on the Holocaust frequently cite Mr. Faurisson’s theories. He is quoted in the 1982 doctoral dissertation written by Mahmoud Abbas, the PA’s President.

When Iran's Ahmadinejad described the Holocaust as “a myth”, Mr. Faurisson sent him a letter “expressing full support for his remarks”. The letter was heralded in the Iranian press.

Faurisson’s latest essay raises the awareness of rampant anti-Semitism in Italy, where a jarring 44% of citizens are “prejudiced or hostile towards Jews”, according to a research study released by the Italian Parliament just last autumn.

This is higher than I assumed, but it can be partially explained:

1) Italy is still somewhat brainwashed from their fascist history.
2) Italy is the center of the catholic church, which has been overtly hateful of Jews up until recently and still has this sentiment
3) Italy has a growing Muslim population
4) Italy is increasingly socialist and is following the path of Greece... which unfortunately leads to wacko banking conspiracies involving zionism/jews.

So the mix of these 4 are toxic.

However 44% is shockingly high.... Thats higher than France or Spain I believe.

I'm not offended. I understand that the vast majority of Europe is antisemitic. But come on, you have to admit that its very feasible that most liberal Jews in Manhattan (and the US) are self hating. Just how many Jews voted for Barack Husein Obama ?...The vast majority ...that's how many. ...see the article below or ask Chaim, he'll tell you. So when you look for antisemitism in other nations, it's good to also look at the Jewish people as whole as well:

Italy is not as hostile towards the Jews in other places like countries in Eastern Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Africa. I think Italy is one of the least hostile.

Europe as a continent is Nazi. The Middle East is extremely Nazi. Africa is largely Nazi (of the jealous negro type). Asia is largely Nazi (of the brainwashed commie type). Latin America is largely Nazi (of the jealous third world and pre-Vatican II Catholic type).

Recent polls show that a large majority of white Americans have positive views of Jewish People and I think about only 8% of have negative views. I can't remember the exact numbers, I got them from Larry Elders.

But also, many in the non-muslim 3rd world aren't Nazi's. They are just ignorant.

I contrast this with the Muslim world that are fixated by Jew Hatred, and where Mein Kampf is second in popularity only to the Koran.

This a nonsensical post. In WWII, Mussolini told Hitler that not one Jew of Italian citizenry would be delivered to Germany for transport to the concentration camps. It wasn't until the Mussolini government fell in 1943 and Germany occupied Italy outright that deportation of Jews occurred. That was the same for Spain's Franco and Portugal's Salazar, the other two Fascists of Western Europe, who were NOT antisemites and did not give up one Spanish or Portuguese Jew up to Hitler, respectively, and allowed French Jews who crossed the Pyrenees to remain there in safety for the remainder of the war.

Tell me what part of Europe as well as the UK is any better when it comes to being two faced... England's treatment of the Jews is not much better post WW2 to the present day.... The Italian Government for all it's faults during the war did not turn over it's Jewish citizens to Hisler.
