U.S. Lawmakers Want Rights to Iron Dome Technology (The Israeli version)

It's a tough situation- what should Israel do?    They need the funding for this.  They might not have  Iron Dome otherwise.

But I wouldn't give it to the United States, especially with Barak Hussein Obama, in charge.  That technology will be sold or given to countries hostile to Israel.

If the choice is Us gets rights to the tech or else no funds, they should choose no funds.  Time for them to grow a spine.  Its an exhorbitantly expensive and unsustainable program.  No logical reason to expand it any further.  It doesn't solve the rockets problem, and JTF knows how to solve that.  You don't need an antimissile program.  Certainly not at the price of USA potentially sharing the technology w israel's enemies.

In an ideal world, the Iron dome (if needed) would be fully funded by Israel (doing that would be very possible), in which case Israel could sell it to the US (given Obama is not in office, and with the condition not to give it to Arabs).

Now, because the US funded the Iron dome, Israel can't really charge the US for it, so it should given for free after Obama leaves office, and under the condition of not giving it to Arabs.

Does Apple give its investors and investment banks who underwrote its ipo the ownership of the patents apple has developed?  Does apple give away technology it invented to investors simply because they helped fund it?    Not a chance!

Or are we talking about some pathetic panhandling charity case.  Sorry but this is a real galuthi way of thinking.  Israel does not OWE its own inventions to anyone.  The us did not have to invest in it, and they do not have to continue investing in it.  No one is forcing them.

It is my understanding that this whole program is a big money making scheme and the US Contractors are laughing all the way to bank, raking in thousands upon thousands of dollars for each anti missile that is launched.

Maybe if Israel stopped giving out welfare checks to Arabs, then it could put the money towards its own self-defense.

Furthermore, the American government will probably give or accidentally leak the information to China, who will then give it to the Arabs.
