If we look at statistics we will see that Serbs have more World Championships in basketball than Americans. Considering size of America and former Yugoslavia we can conclude that WHITE MEN CAN JUMP.

Until 1992 NBA players were banned from these competitions so the USA team was college players. And most years afterwards the Americans sent a national team mainly of the 2nd rank players of the NBA until they lost in Athens then they got serious again.

Yugoslavia has been strong at basketball in the past... and there have been some great Serbian basketball players... however... recently... I haven't seen much coming from them.

And yes.... anything before the 90's in the US was non-professional players.

I think year was 1989, and from 1990 until 2002 Yugoslavia won 3 golds. We drove from Florida to Indianapolis to see finals in 2002.

Finals had been stolen in Turkey in 2010 and that game will be remembered in history of basketball-referee made 50 recorded mistakes to help Turks to win. Anyways, I am not happy with results but team is young.
