What do the liberals in NY think about the 2nd amendment after Sandy?

So what do all the liberals in NY think about the 2nd amendment now that:
* They have no heat.
* They have no electricity.
* The only police presence is at the gas stations.
* Looting is happening but is not being reported in the so-called media.
Yet they will still vote for schmuck schumer and the [censored] gillibrand who would be going door to door confiscating legally owned guns (like in new orleans) if they thought they could.

It's been happening much more in the city but Nassau County has had some looting as well.   

If G-d Forbid Barack Hussein Obama remains in the oval office for another 4 years,   what people are experiencing as a result of Hurricane Sandy will be much more frequent on a wider scale basis.   Instead of it being only in a section of the country,   the bad conditions will be widespread.     While there's a gasoline shortage now,   another Great Depression would go well beyond a gasoline shortage and the other affects of Hurricane Sandy.    A food shortage is very possible down the road,   especially if a Nuclear attack on the U.S.  occurs.

Absolutely nothing about it... they DON'T think!

Actually my observation on matters such as this is liberals want to restrict various things for others but not for themselves. They want others to pay more taxes and others to not use as much energy. Therefore I imagine they are a bit confused on how to devise some plan to restrict guns for conservatives and minorities but at the same time allow them for themselves.

dllmg- actually I think most of them are not even thinking about owning a gun. Even if they are robbed. And about restricting guns for some and not for themselves (in the case of Jews at least) - if only that were true.

The reason that good people need guns is because the bad people will always get guns no matter what the law says.  So preventing good people from having guns really enables the bad people to have less fear while robbing and murdering decent people.

In Israel we have no 2nd amendment and the result is that all the Arabs have illegal guns, all the criminals have illegal guns, but regular citizens have no gun. Only officers in the army get a license to own and carry gun.

I think what would take is to change the law so people can own gun and practice shooting. And there should also be an affordable way to practice shooting. Israel is densely populated and it wouldn't be possible for most people to practice shooting at their back yard or find some isolated spot in the woods.
