I was just posting on a talkback on yahoo  and I described the following: The Jewish State of Israel.  A reply to my talkback indicated that the "Jewish" part was switched to #@#@@# characters... basically censored the word "jewish"

  This means some of their staff must be pond scum as well as the people who frequent the comments section.

Very strange. Why "jewish" of all words?  Especially considering that Google had that explanation page that would come up when you searched for the word "jew," which recommended searching for “Judaism,” “Jewish” or “Jewish people” to get better quality results:
