There's room to improve when its secular. The British way shoots a nail to the head, which isn't great, but the point is they feel nothing.

Also Islamic slaughter even of pure animals like cows and chicken is not kosher and such meat is treif (forbidden to eat).

It is not treif. It's neveila.

Treifot are defects in the lung that would cause the animal to die had it not been shechted.
