Hashem is Angry: Seventh Earthquake in a week in Israel
« on: October 23, 2013, 07:21:55 PM »
Shalom,

I am not sure if anyone else has felt that the recent rise in seismic activity in Israel is the result of the recent 'peace talks' and that Hashem is trying to send us a message. I believe that the message is that the peace talks are wrong, a rejection of the promise Hashem made to our forefather Abraham in the covenant, and that Israel should not ever give up land for the false promise of peace.

This week Jews everywhere are reading the portion of Chayei Sarah. In this portion we read that when Sarah our mother died, Abraham purchased the Cave of Machpelah in Chevron at a very high price and that this was an eternal acquisition. Jews own this land, purchased fair and square, and it was never stolen from anyone.

The earthquake activity is strange as there has never been a sequence of earthquakes like this in recorded history...

I hope that the message is appreciated by the leaders of Israel before it is too late...

Yet Another Earthquake - This Time in Eilat
Israel's unusual period of seismic activity continues. Unlike previous tremors, latest earthquake felt in southern Israel.

Israel's unusual period of seismic activity continued today (Wednesday), as yet another small earthquake was felt - this time in the southernmost Israeli city of Eilat.

Although epicenter of the quake, which registered 3.3. on the Richter Scale, was located in the Egyptian town of Taaba, tremors were registered in the Israeli resort city. No damage or injuries occurred.

This is the seventh such mini-earthquake in a week, and Israel has been abuzz with speculation as to whether such a rare string of tremors could portend a much larger earthquake.

On Monday evening, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu ordered emergency earthquake drills in schools throughout the country, and Shas MK Eli Yishai, who heads the parliamentary committee charged with home front preparedness, announced a "special meeting in wake of the wave of earthquakes."

But in a recent interview with Arutz Sheva Dr. Efraim Laor, who was the chairman of the Inter-ministerial Committee on Dealing with Earthquakes, maintained that there was no need for panic.

Laor claimed that the chance of a meaningful earthquake has not changed after the series of quakes, which - until today's quake - were centered in the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel.

Nevertheless, Laor urged Israelis to take every precaution, as the possibility of an upcoming major earthquake could not be ruled out.

Scientists at the Israel Geophysical Institute have said they were examining the quakes, searching for patterns and clues that could indicate if the sudden confluence of small earthquakes could indicate that something bigger was imminent.

The last notable earthquake in Israel, a 4.2 magnitude tremor, occurred in August 2011.

In 1927, about 300 people were killed when a quake hit Jerusalem and nearby Jericho.

A similar quake in 1837 measuring 7.0 and with an epicentre in northern Israel's Hula Valley, devastated the town of Tzfat (Safed), and killed some 4,000 people.

Its a good thing. The small quakes divert a larger quake that could be a tragedy G-D forbid. These small quotes are a good wake up call 1- to prepare and 2- they release some of the pressure. Had it been just 1 earthquake first it would have been very strong and catastrophic. The smaller earthquakes release the pressure and make the future earthquake(s) much less in the Richter scale.

In California we don't even notice less than 3.0 quakes...

I think it is clear that G-d is angry at Israel's acceptance of sodomy and abortion as well as its complete disregard for Jewish lives and the land entrusted to it.

Isn't it ironic that the Earthquakes formed the Jordan Valley and the Leftists always take of mending the "rifts" for a "valley" of peace? This is part of the Syrian-African Rift Valley which extends from North of the Golan Heights all the way to Kenya. It separates the Lebanon and Anti-Lebanon Mountains. Mount Hermon is part of the Anti-Lebanon range. It then separates Pre-1967 Israel from the Golan Heights. Later on it separates Jordan from Israel starting South of the Kinneret through at the border on the Jordan River to the Dead Sea. Then it separates the mountains of the Aravah from the mountains in Jordan. After that it runs through the Red Sea separating Sinai from Arabia. Eventually it separates Africa from Arabia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Rift_Valley

I would copy the article but it needs too much deprogramming to fit JTF. It has fake terms such as "Palestinian territories" and other garbage like "West Bank". It's funny that it uses West Bank to refer only to the Jordan Valley in Post-1967 Israel even thought the Northern part of the Jordan Valley is by definition a "West bank" yet Leftists use "West Bank" to refer to part of the bank and also to the mountains to the West of the bank also. So they don't know the definition of the term bank.

Natural History of the Dead Sea

There are two contending hypotheses about the origin of the low elevation of the Dead Sea. The older hypothesis is that it lies in a true rift zone, an extension of the Red Sea Rift, or even of the Great Rift Valley of eastern Africa. A more recent hypothesis is that the Dead Sea basin is a consequence of a "step-over" discontinuity along the Dead Sea Transform, creating an extension of the crust with consequent subsidence.

Around three million years ago,[citation needed] what is now the valley of the Jordan River, Dead Sea, and Wadi Arabah was repeatedly inundated by waters from the Mediterranean Sea. The waters formed in a narrow, crooked bay which was connected to the sea through what is now the Jezreel Valley. The floods of the valley came and went depending on long scale climate change. The lake that occupied the Dead Sea Rift, named Lake Sedom,[12] deposited beds of salt that eventually became 3 km (2 mi) thick.

Approximately two million years ago,[citation needed] the land between the Rift Valley and the Mediterranean Sea rose to such an extent that the ocean could no longer flood the area. Thus, the long bay became a lake.

The first such prehistoric lake is named "Lake Amora",[12] which was a freshwater or brackish lake that extended at least 80 km (50 mi) south of the current southern end of the Dead Sea and 100 km (60 mi) north, well above the present Hula Depression. As the climate became more arid, Lake Amora shrank and became saltier. The large, saltwater predecessor of the Dead Sea is called "Lake Lisan".[12]

Pebbles cemented with halite on the western shore of the Dead Sea near Ein Gedi.
In prehistoric times, great amounts of sediment collected on the floor of Lake Amora. The sediment was heavier than the salt deposits and squeezed the salt deposits upwards into what are now the Lisan Peninsula and Mount Sodom (on the southwest side of the lake). Geologists explain the effect in terms of a bucket of mud into which a large flat stone is placed, forcing the mud to creep up the sides of the pail. When the floor of the Dead Sea dropped further due to tectonic forces, the salt mounts of Lisan and Mount Sodom stayed in place as high cliffs (see salt dome).

From 70,000 to 12,000 years ago, the lake level was 100 m (330 ft) to 250 m (820 ft) higher than its current level. This lake, called "Lake Lisan", fluctuated dramatically, rising to its highest level around 26,000 years ago, indicating a very wet climate in the Near East.[13] Around 10,000 years ago, the lake level dropped dramatically, probably to levels even lower than today. During the last several thousand years, the lake has fluctuated approximately 400 m (1,300 ft), with some significant drops and rises. Current theories as to the cause of this dramatic drop in levels rule out volcanic activity; therefore, it may have been a seismic event.

What the Leftists at Wikipedia don't tell you is about the Sodomites and Amorites. They just mention Lake Sedom and Lake Amora.

It is HaShem! And He is warning Israel, America, and the World. With Israel and the U.S. he is giving us big warnings, with out a lot of lives lost. Not the case for other places.
Ezekiel 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the horn, and the people be not warned, and the sword do come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
