The Iraq "Study Group"
« on: July 31, 2007, 01:46:42 AM »
I wasn't around JTF when this report was released around the month of December.

What was JTF's reaction to the proposal of the US forcing Israel to give the Golan Heights to Syria as concessions in an attempt to get Syria to stop supporting insurgencies in Iraq?  By even suggesting this, the "study group" implied that Israel supported the Iraq War.  However, this is false as it had nothing to do with Israel.

What did JTF think of the strategy to reduce troop levels and reduce the role of US troops to mostly training Iraqi troops--besides the point that after four years, they should have enough training by now?
