Norwegian media proudly reported on Sunday that a Norwegian woman studying at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzilya was dating Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's son Yair.

According to the report in the Dagen newspaper, when the prime minister met Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg for a diplomatic meeting in Davos last week, he boasted of his son's new relationship.



Photos posted on the girlfriend's Facebook show the couple in what appears to be a trip to Norway. Sandra Leikanger is reportedly from Grimstad, Norway.

A source close to Netanyahu's son confirmed that Leikanger is not Jewish.

The prime minister's second wife, Fleur Cates, was also not Jewish and converted to Judaism. Netanyahu and Cates were married between 1981-84.

A smiling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with his Norwegian counterpart, Erna Solberg, in Davos, Switzerland on Thursday, and one of the topics on the agenda was Netanyahu’s son’s new Norwegian girlfriend.

Netanyahu reportedly revealed to Solberg that his son, Yair, had recently vacationed in the northern part of Norway with his new girlfriend, , a Norwegian national who is currently studying at Israel’s Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.

Norwegian news agency Dagen managed to snag some photos of Yair and Sandra together in Norway from her Facebook page. A day later, Leikanger quickly restricted public access to the images, and declined to comment to Dagen on the matter.

As Netanyahu is one of the world’s foremost terrorist targets, he is the subject of constant and strict security measures. Dagen contacted Norway’s Police Security Service (PST) to ask what special measures had been taken to protect Netanyahu’s son during his recent visit.

The PST declined to comment.

When Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg sat down for a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, she received some unexpected news: that the prime minister’s son Yair was dating a Norwegian national, Sandra Leikanger.

 

As the two discussed bilateral issues and the “new-found friendship” between Jerusalem and Oslo under Solberg’s newly elected right-center government, Netanyahu reportedly told Solberg that his son traveled with Leikanger in Norway over the summer, and that the two had been dating for months.

According to a report published by the Norwegian daily Dagen, the tall, svelte blonde met the younger Netanyahu at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, where they are both pursuing a degree.

Netanyahu, 23, recently completed his mandatory military service in the IDF, where he served as a corporal in the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit. He currently studies International Relations at IDC.

Leikanger, 25, studies Communications, Dagen reported.

According to the report, Leikanger — who is 1.8 meters tall (5′ 11″) — hails from the southern Norwegian city of Grimstad, which is known for its conservative Christian population.

Photos obtained by the newspaper from Leikanger’s Facebook page, which has since been made private, show the happy couple posing at a restaurant and on the Norwegian seafront.

According to the report, the two take a bodyguard along when they go on dates in Israel.

Leikanger’s sister Ida, who also goes by the Israeli name Hila, lives in Israel as well, according to Facebook. Their mother, Anne Kirstine, often posts pro-Israel content on her Facebook page, and visited Israel this fall.

Though Norway is generally not known for its good relations with Israel, it boasts a community of pro-Israel Evangelical Christians numbering several thousands.

Leikanger’s family reportedly belongs to Norway’s Evangelical community. Last month, Anne Kirstine posted a Christmas greeting on her Facebook page, saying that “Mary’s boychild Jesus Christ was born on Christmas Day .. Let’s celebrate!!!!”.

Benjamin Netanyahu’s own second wife, Fleur Cates, was a non-Jewish woman of British origin.

Yair was born in 1991 to Netanyahu’s third wife, Sara.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu failed to set an example for the Jewish people by not preventing his son from dating a non-Jewish Norwegian woman, Shas MK Nissim Ze'ev told The Jerusalem Post Sunday.
 
According to the report in the Norwegian newspaper Dagen, when the prime minister met Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg for a diplomatic meeting in Davos last week, he boasted of his son Yair's relationship with Sandra Leikanger from Grimstad, Norway.
 
Leikanger is a student at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzilya. A source close to Netanyahu's son confirmed that she is not Jewish. But her older sister Ida, who moved to Israel, has converted to Judaism.
 
"It's a big problem," Ze'ev said. "As the prime minister of Israel and the Jewish people, he must display national responsibility via the values he presents inside his own household. I bet it pains him. Any Jew who wants to maintain his roots wants to see his son marry a Jewish girl. There is no shortage of beautiful, successful girls without sowing in the fields of others."
 
Ze'ev said he thought Netanyahu understood the importance of representing the Jewish people and the beauty of Jewish values. He praised him for walking two kilometers back to his hotel on Friday evening in Davos so as not to violate Shabbat following meetings at the World Economic Forum.
 
There was also criticism for Netanyahu from within his own party. "All I can say is that it is very unfortunate," MK Moshe Feiglin said.
 
The anti-assimilation group LEHAVA wrote on Monday following the media reports: "Bibi's son has found a Gentile! His father is proud of him and gives legitmacy to the assimilation and destruction of the Jewish people."

The prime minister's second wife, Fleur Cates, was also not Jewish and converted to Judaism. Netanyahu and Cates were married between 1981-84.

World Zionist Organization vice chairman David Breakstone, who represents the worldwide Conservative movement, said he hopes that if the relationship becomes serious she would want to convert to Judaism.

"The laws should changed in order to enable Leikanger to convert to Judaism as she and the Netanyahu family would understand it," Breakstone said. "She should not be limited to a Judaism as understood and interpreted by a Chief Rabbinate with an antiquated interpretation of Judaism that is out of sync with the majority of Jews around the world."
 
Yair Netanyahu, 23, made news in June when he heckled Yesh Atid faction chairman Ofer Shelach when the MK spoke at Hebrew University where Netanyahu is a student.  Students in the right-wing student group Lavie said Yair Netanyahu's views were "just like his father's."

We are likewise commanded not to make marriages with other nations, neither to give our daughters to them nor take their daughters for us. This mitzvah was stated in the context of the seven Canaanite nations but it does not apply exclusively to them. Due to certain redundancies in the verse, it applies to other nations as well, but with one crucial difference: the Canaanite nations were not permitted to join Israel through conversion, while other nations could convert and then marry in.

The reason for this mitzvah is apparent: we don't want the pagan influence on our homes. We don't want their religious icons in our houses and we certainly don't want them indoctrinating our children. If you want to raise your children in your faith, you have to marry someone who will partner with you in the attempt.

This mitzvah applies in all times and places. It is discussed in the Talmud in the tractates of Yevamos (23a), Sanhedrin (82a) and Avodah Zarah (36b). It is codified in the Shulchan Aruch in Even Ha’Ezer 16. This mitzvah is #52 of the 365 negative mitzvos in the Rambam’s Sefer HaMitzvos and #19 of the 194 negative mitzvos that can be observed today as listed in the Chofetz Chaim’s Sefer HaMitzvos HaKatzar.

Although Leftists and Islamic supremacists, as well as hard-Left governing and media elites, will continue to insist that there is something wrong with opposing jihad terror and Islamic supremacism because of this mass murderer, and will continue to claim that I and others somehow “inspired” him, it has been clear for quite some time that Breivik was not a counter-jihadist at all, and could not have been and was not incited to violence by the counter-jihad movement. And now he has finally admitted that his entire “manifesto” was intended solely to discredit the counter-jihad movement once he committed his murders.

However, don’t expect the New York Times, which put me on its front page for this, or the Daily Mail or any of the other media outlets that blamed the counter-jihad movement for his murders to issue retractions and apologies, or to take any notice of this at all: this article is only in Swedish. No English-language outlets have picked it up at all.

The terrorist Anders Behring Breivik has sent a letter to the international media. In the letter, he describes himself as a fighter for the “survival of the Nordic race,” and demands a territory for whites in Norway.

Anders Behring Breivik has sent out a letter to the international media that Expo Today has reviewed. He describes the letter as a sort of first step in a “peace negotiation” with his political opponents. In the letter, Anders Behring Breivik to some extent changes the rhetoric from that which he used in his so-called manifesto. He says that he used “counter-jihadist” rhetoric in the manifesto to protect “ethno-nationalists” and instead provoke a media campaign against the anti-nationalist counter-jihad supporters. He calls this a strategy of “dual psychology.”

Anders Behring Breivik claims that he seeks a “pure Nordic ideal.” He argues that the “Nordic race” is being eradicated, and wants to form a Nazi party in Norway like the Swedes’ Party. He mentions several notorious right-wing extremists in Norway whom he wants to lead the party, including Varg Vikernes and Erik Blucher.

“We lost the European civil war (World War II),” writes Brevik, addressing the nationalists who he believes should endorse his “peace proposal.”

Breivik also identifies himself as part of “Western Europe’s fascist movement.” For there to be peace, Breivik believes that “nationalists” should be offered Southwestern Østfold in Norway to ensure “the survival of native Norwegians and Scandinavians.” Breivik wants to see similar parcels of land distributed to whites in several European countries.

Breivik writes in addition that his love of Israel consists only in its future function as a place to deport “disloyal Jews.”

Anders Behring Breivik also writes that he does not think he will survive in prison, where he claims he has been tortured.

Further proof that Breivik was never a counter-jihadist comes from his recommendation that Europeans should make common cause with jihadists: “An alliance with the Jihadists might prove beneficial to both parties but will simply be too dangerous (and might prove to be ideologically counter-productive). We both share one common goal.” He even called for making common cause with Hamas in plotting jihad terror: “Approach a representative from a Jihadi Salafi group. Get in contact with a Jihadi strawman. Present your terms and have him forward them to his superiors”¦.Present your offer. They are asked to provide a biological compound manufactured by Muslim scientists in the Middle East. Hamas and several Jihadi groups have labs and they have the potential to provide such substances. Their problem is finding suitable martyrs who can pass “˜screenings” in Western Europe. This is where we come in. We will smuggle it in to the EU and distribute it at a target of our choosing. We must give them assurances that we are not to harm any Muslims etc.”

Netanyahu's first marriage was to Miriam Weizmann, who he met in Israel. Weizmann lived near Yonatan Netanyahu's Jerusalem apartment, where Netanyahu was based during his military service. By the time Netanyahu's service was finished, Weizmann had completed her own military service and a degree in chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In 1972, they both left to study in the United States, where she enrolled in Brandeis University while Netanyahu studied at MIT. They married soon afterward. The couple had one daughter, Noa (born 29 April 1978).

In 1978, while Weizmann was pregnant, Netanyahu met a British woman named Fleur Cates at the university library, and began an affair. His marriage ended in divorce soon afterward, when his wife discovered the affair. In 1981, he married Cates, but the couple divorced in 1984.

In 1991 Netanyahu married his third wife, Sara Ben-Artzi, a psychology major working as a flight attendant, whom he met while traveling on an El Al flight from New York to Israel. The couple has two sons: Yair, a Corporal in the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, and Avner, a national Bible champion and winner of the prestigious National Bible Quiz for Youth in Kiryat Shmona.

In 1993, Netanyahu confessed on live television to having had an affair with Ruth Bar, his public relations adviser, claiming that a political rival had planted a secret video camera that had recorded him in a sexually-compromising position with Bar, and that he had been threatened with the release of the tape to the press unless he quit the Likud leadership race. The crisis eventually subsided, with Benjamin and Sara repairing their marriage, and Netanyahu was elected. However, in 1996, reports emerged of his "close" 20-year friendship with Katherine Price-Mondadori, a married Italian-American woman.

Sara Netanyahu has been the defendant of numerous lawsuits filed by former housekeepers, alleging abuse and underpayment. Netanyahu became a grandfather on 1 October 2009, when his daughter Noa Netanyahu-Roth (married to Daniel Roth) gave birth to a boy, Shmuel. In 2011, Noa and her husband Daniel had a second son named David.
