An excerpt from Nelson Mandela's memo to Thomas Friedman about Israel & Palestine
You seem to be surprised to hear that there are still problems of 1948 to be solved, the most important component of which is the right to return of Palestinian refugees. The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is not just an issue of military occupation and Israel is not a country that was established “normally” and happened to occupy another country in 1967. Palestinians are not struggling for a “state” but for freedom, liberation and equality, just like we were struggling for freedom in South Africa.
In the last few years, and especially during the reign of the Labour Party, Israel showed that it was not even willing to return what it occupied in 1967; that Settlements remain, Jerusalem would be under exclusive Israeli sovereignty, and Palestinians would not have an independent state, but would be under Israeli economic domination with Israeli control of borders, land, air, water and sea.
Israel was not thinking of a “state” but of “separation”. The value of separation is measured in terms of the ability of Israel to keep the Jewish state Jewish, and not to have a Palestinian minority that could have the opportunity to become a majority at some time in the future. If this takes place, it would force Israel to either become a secular democratic or bi-national state, or to turn into a state of Apartheid not only de facto, but also de jure.
I quoted this from the article linked on this site:
http://www.keghart.com/Mandela-PalestineBasically, Nelson Mandela believed that Jews had the right to be in Israel in the same way that the Afrikaneer Boers had the right to be in South Africa. He, basically, equated the Jews of Israel and Kahanists, in particular, as the same as the Dutch-descended Boers as oppressors of the native people of the land. In effect, he is claiming that Israel is an apartheid state with a foreign entity oppressing its natives, "The Palestinians". The Boers in South Africa actually did oppress the blacks quite a bit, although if you look at the situation today, the black tribes are as ruthless , if not more, to each other. Unfortunately, the real apartheid is Europe and the Libearl Democrat/Green Party/Socialists of hte USA and the Arab League who actually treat Jews as second class citizens in their own native land and give more rights to the Arabs , who have more freedom to live, pray and work anywhere in the Middle East , Israel, Gaza/West Bank than the Jews have the ability to do. Arabs have freedom to pray on the Temple Mount , where as the JEws do not have this freedom.
I cannot think of one man on this Earth who is more Anti-Kahanist than Nelson Mandela, as is more anti-Jewish/anti-Israel.
I'm not one to play the "Troll-Card" , but seriously, dancal, where you born in a box and just crawled out of it last week to make this absurd post on a Kahanist forum??
I mean the very man who proclaims that the Jews are guests in "Palestine", just like he consideres the Afrikaneers (who actually were in South Africa before many of the blacks) are guests in South Africa.
The Arabs, in fact, are the conquerors and most of them came as settlers just as the Jews did. Many Arabs settle in the land after the Jewish settlers, claiming their land which they never even knew or cared about, was stolen from them. As a matter of fact, most of these Arabs have no land rights and Jews bought the "worthless, malarial-infested, swampland" legitimately from wealthy Arab land owners who didn't know what to do with it. Of course, after 1948 they revoked the land deeds and claimed the sales were illegitimate to accommodate the Pan-Arab nationalists who wanted to finish the job their champion Adolf Hitler failed to do.
Considering I was in Africa for half a year, befriending Africans, doing humanitarian work, etc, you cannot label me a racist , as you probably normally do to anyone who doesn't agree with your ludicrous ideas. Nelson Mandela is a barbarian, may he rot forever.. He [B}Was[/B] one of the greatest enemies to Israel and Zionist/Kahanist Jews who ever lived.
