Ruby Rivlin, the President of Israel from the Likud party, supports a Jewish woman's decision to convert to Islam and marry an Arab Muslim. Rivlin warmly blesses the Jewish convert to Islam, wishing her happiness. The Likud President also strongly condemns Jews who oppose this suicidal behavior, accusing them of "incitement".

Is this is a Jewish president of a Jewish state?

The correct description for Rivlin is 'gentle buffoon'. 
A lot of the support to appoint Rivlin as president was so that he would no longer be able to interefere in politics.
