Marwan Kawasmeh and Amer Abu Eisha of Hevron located and killed in exchange of gunfire.

Marwan Kawasmeh and Amer Abu Eisha of Hevron, who abducted and murdered three yeshiva boys Eyal Yifrah, Gilad Sha'ar, Naftali Frenkel earlier this summer, were located and killed in exchange of gunfire.

The operation was carried out by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) along with the Yamam, a special unit of the Border Police, and the IDF. An attempt was made to arrest the susects but an exchange of fire developed in which they were killed.

In the last few days, several Hamas suspects were arrested and questioned on the assumption that they were assisting the fugitives.

Kawasmeh's close relative Hussam was arrested in Jerusalem in August for planning the attack, which was carried out physically by Marwan, along with Amer Abu-Eisha.

The abduction and murder reportedly was planned by a third Kawasmeh, Mahmoud, along with Hussam, under the support of Hamas's military branch, the Al-Qassam Brigades, through their branches both in Gaza and abroad.

The Brigades transferred funds via Mahmoud to purchase a car with an Israeli license plate, weapons and hideouts which were arranged in advance,according to the sources. They added that the three Israeli teens were buried on land purchased by the Kawasmeh family long before the attack.

Israeli security sources reported that Hussam admitted in investigation to having shaven his beard off and obtained a forged passport in an attempt to flee the country to Jordan.

If they were captured and then executed, it would have been better because at least there would be justice and no mercy. In this particular situation, exchange of gunfire means that the IDF were defending themselves.

I agree with every word you said Muman. Is it too early to hope that this way of dealing with Arab murderers catches on? This is not entirely related to the topic, but personally, (and I know not everyone agrees with me on this one), instead of dropping flyers into Gaza (so that Israel could be loved by countries that will never love them); instead of sending our boys into Gaza to protect the same scum who would love nothing better than to murder as many soldiers as possible; instead of taking it easy on Hamas (so that the entire world could look upon Israel with contempt); Israel should have turned Gaza into another Dresden. Moreover, they should have broadcast the fire bombing of Gaza to as many networks as possible. Because Arabs only understand strength and weakness and fear. Had Israel done that, the Arabs would have been crippled by their fear. That is the ONLY way that there will ever be a peace in the Middle East. Quite frankly, the Arabs need to be taught a lesson.

And the lesson is this: Quit making trouble, or we will annihilate you. Everybody knows that if Israel actually loses a war, that will mean the end of the state of Israel and a genocide of the Jews. And we don't like having to fight for our lives every single time you want to make trouble. So we're through playing games with you people. If you start a war against us, we will destroy you and take your land. And by the way, we're not about to give up a square inch of our land for the "prospect of peace".  Whether we will have peace or war is up to you. But think really really hard before you attack us.
