What is wrong with American Jewish voters?

Apparently Obama is not anti-Israel or anti-Jewish enough for the self-hating majority of Jews in America. This makes be really wonder if the people who identify as American Jews are really Jewish because I find it hard to believe such a people who are supposed to be smart, and are supposed to care about the welfare of their own people, could vote with such utter disregard for the welfare of the Jewish state.

An administration who is openly hostile toward the government of Israel and it's people, who accept every terrorist action against Israel and deny Israel the right to defend itself, an administration which calls the PM names and treats him like dirt... How could the Jewish Americans look at themselves in the mirror. Are 68% of American Jews self-haters who only care about what the gentiles think? There is some severe mental illness going on with American Jewry.

I had made a comment to my Rabbi last Shabbat (before the elections) hoping that the Jewish community would give up its blind idol worship of a party which has repeatedly acted in the worst interest of Jews and the Jewish state. My rabbi appeared to share my hope that the Obama administration would be wiped from the face of the earth, and this gave me hope...

But today I see the results... I am ashamed of my people, severely ashamed to be an American Jew.

Self-hating and demonic...

American Jewish voters are still largely Democrats, according to a poll by far-left lobbying group J-Street - despite the Democratic party's tendency to support pro-Palestinian views.

The survey, of 800 Jewish voters who cast a ballot in Tuesday's midterm congressional elections, showed that voters favored Democrats over Republicans by a landslide 69%-28% margin.

Likewise, they have higher opinions of US President Barack Obama than most of the public, with 57% of respondents approving of Obama's presidency thus far, versus the 42% national average. However, the approval rating is still higher for Binyamin Netanyahu - who gained a 61/100 score on a definitive ranking of political personalities, vs. 49/100 for Obama.

Predictably, 59% of respondents defined themselves as "Democrats," with an additional 9% saying they "lean" Democratic. Just 15% defined themselves as "Republican" and a meager 6% "leaned Republican."

The numbers were slightly different between "conservative" voters and "liberal" voters, at 19% and 36%, respectively. 36% defined themselves as "moderate" and 9% as "progressive."

Regarding Israel-related issues themselves, the results largely reflected leftist politics in the US, with high percentages of respondents against Israeli sovereignty in Judea-Samaria, supporting a Palestinian state, and supporting greater US involvement in peace talks.

Respondents had relatively moderate views of Israel's presence in Judea-Samaria, however. While the US State Department, under the Obama administration has explicitly deemed "settlement activity" behind 1949 Armistice Lines as "illegitimate," only 28% of those polled said Israel should withdraw from the region, while the majority - 52% - said that it should only withdraw outside "core settlement blocs."

Surprisingly, despite the left-leaning audience, 20% still said that Israel should continue to build in Judea-Samaria.

Operation Protective Edge in Gaza, however, garnered overwhelming support, with 80% saying they approved of the military campaign.

Most respondents supported the State Department's active meddling in peace talks, with 85% affirming that they support an "active" American role in Israeli-Palestinian relations. 73% said they supported US pressure "on both sides" of the conflict. Tempering that, just 47% would approve of the US pressuring Israel to make concessions for peace. 80% total supported a "two-state solution."

The top two issues, according to poll respondents, important to American Jews in casting their votes Tuesday were the economy (44%) and health care (31%). Terrorism was cited as a top issue by 17%, ISIS by 13%, and Israel at only 8%. Additionally, only 10% of respondents listed education as one of their top two primary concerns.

The poll shows that while Republicans invariably predict a seismic shift in Jewish voting patterns, it usually fails to materialize:

Interestingly, the voting percentages of Jews in Tuesday’s midterm elections resemble closely those of the 2012 presidential election, despite Republican predictions of a shift in Jewish voting patters.

If Hillary Clinton was the Democratic candidate for president in 2016, the poll suggests no drastic changes and that Clinton would beat potential Republican candidates - former Florida governor Jeb Bush by 69% to 24% and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul 71% to 22%.

Perhaps the most unexpected result of the poll is Jewish support for a nuclear agreement with Iran. 84% of American Jews said they would strongly, or somewhat, support a deal restricting uranium enrichment to civilian purposes and placing inspectors at Iran’s nuclear facilities in exchange for the removal or reduction of sanctions.

As I was driving to work this morning I heard a report that one of the upstate races here in New York might have gone to the Republican candidate and not the incumbent Democrap...  Because Hasidic community there tends to vote in a block at almost a 1000 votes mostly leaning towards Democraps... The race in question which had a smaller point spread could have gone to the Republican had this group voted for a more conservative candidate.

If New York lost all its Jewish residents, there is a very good chance it may become a red state..  New York , like Washington state is a reddish state with a very small blue piece of cancer, New York City.   Had New YOrk City not been part of New York, the state would have been overwhelmingly Republican and I may have even considered living there.     The Jews in US are almost a majority Democrat and support gun control, increasing taxes, gay marriage and every other G-d forsaken liberal cause that goes against the foundations and ethics of this country.

I don't understand why Jews in this country are so loyal to the National Socialistic governing machine..  Many German Jews, who were some of the most wealthy and powerful in Europe in the Pre-Nazi era actually were very heartbroken that they couldn't serve the Nazi party.  Many Jews wanted to swear their loyalty to Adolf Hitler, but that obviously was not feasible, considering he considered the Jews, Public Enemy #1 as well as the Russians.  Even Stalin, wanted to ally himself with Hitler against the rest of Western Europe, but as with the Jews, he considered the Russians to be another arch-rival.

The Jews always want to follow a leader who makes them false promises of security and protection, because many don't have the backbone to be strong and stand up and fight against tyranny and injustices committed by the leaders.  That is why we remained helpless and weak for generations.   Israel in 1948 was the one period of history where we became vigilant, but now with the current National Socialistic/COmmunist type of leadership in Israel, it is, in fact, one of the worst police states in the world and Jewish citizens are weak and helpless almost living in similar conditions to old Europe.  Many Jews are actually leaving Israel and moving to Poland because they have more freedom, less taxes and don't have to worry about a Muslim raping their wife/sister/daughter, which is now more and more common in Israel.    Thanks to Israel's high taxation and ultra-strict gun control, Jewish citizens are left helpless, overworked and poor.   Not to mention the growing population of illegal African immigrants who are leeching off the taxpayer's dollar and turning Tel Aviv into South Central Los Angeles.

Jews are very influential members of society..  Michael Bloomberg spent $1 million to fund the I-594 initiative here in Washington state..   Steve Ballmer (another  powerful Jewish person) , former Microsoft CEO, spend another million or so to fund the measure.   About 90% of the Jewish organizations and synagogues were very large supporters of the I-594 bill and were some of the most proactive people in the community to help promote and help the bill pass.

The Jewish Federation of Seattle talked about how I-594 will help prevent any further shootings like what happened at the JFS about a decade ago.. Never mind, that it was committed by an Islamic fanatic who probably purchased his gun legally.   Arabs rarely buy their guns at gun shows or gun forums in FTF deals.


And, the Jewish vote in New York state is not 2% ..  Have you looked at the number of Jews who live in New York, percentage wise?

  So? Others are very influential as well. + like I said I wouldn't and do not trust J street or whatever they are called to make a "poll". They are extreme leftists and anti-Israel. Many of them aren't even Jewish Halahically and they count people who are not Jewish at all as "Jews". Of-course the leftists numbers will go higher with people that are not Jewish and who are part of the deformist movement. For the other Jews, the real Jews. It is sad and pathetic that they do not identify with Israel, but as America goes they are not much different then the average Americans because many American's do vote democrat, and others Republican (sometimes some back and forth). So let's not kvetch and blame the Jews for Obama etc.
