There are 3 reasons this would never have happened 50 yers ago:

1/ There was no white guilt, self-hate or pollitical correctness.

2/ Lawmakers had b@lls.

3/ The animals had the certain knowledge that this behaviour would have lead to their becomming intimate with a rope.
