Could things like this happen again in America/Europe?

One of the cases I cite is the lynching of Leo Frank in 1915. At that time the justice system was heavily biased against Jews despite flimsy evidence from a janitor (who confessed a year after the lynching, but was not convicted, as the judge ruled that the lynching of a 'Yankee Jew' was favorable over the lynching of a poor black man). He was not the only Jew lynched on American soil on trumped up charges, though it is the most infamous case. The affair subsequently led to the formation of the Anti-Defamation League.

After reading an article about Golden Dawn (a Neo-Nazi group situated in Greece) I'm starting to become concerned if people like this manage to get into power, especially in America or the UK. Some areas of the UK for example are under Muslim control, imposing Sharia Law onto visitors, so we take great care to avoid passing through them. Islam is also the fastest growing 'religion' right now and where I live that is very noticeable. Are there enough preventative procedures/measures today to prevent things like this happening again in America?

 I doubt neo-nazis would ever get into power in the US or the UK but in Greece its basically an inevitable since the neo-Communists there will ruin the economy and will seal the rise of this nazi party "Golden Dawn"

My city is the most fortunate perhaps in the whole world in the sense that herein the percentage of the muslamic population has continuously reduced in the last 65 years.  May the whole world follow this example.

You got lucky. Where I live they appear to be flooding out from the sewers. In my college every 1 out of 3 people appear to be Pakistani or Muslim. One of the Muslims in my class proclaims that Moses was a Muslim. -Shakes head-

Off the late I have heard them saying that even Abraham and Adam were muslamics. I had no answer to such claims, so I simply told them that the Yehudi (Jews) will look in to this and tell you at the time appropriate.

It's funny, because Islam wasn't founded until some 1,500 years ago when Muhammad (name spelling entirely intended) attempted to create a new religion. Moses was born approx. 1393 BCE. I'm also told other such tripe that 'every child is born Muslim' etc.
