Reagan could no longer agree with socialism which is what the Democrat party has turned into, immorality, and Big government. His statement, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed down to them to do the same." shows how man has become depraved, serving himself, and that freedom is fleeting. Are we going to fight for it or keep electing people who serve the Creature instead of the Creator?
