 I might be against this for people who weren't arrested before because it might prevent them from being able to get guns once they are arrested. I don't know the laws exactly but I think this is the laws. Better to get a gun then to get banned from getting a weapon in the future (or even present). Can do a lot more work with a gun but defensive and when the time comes otherwise as well.
