Echoing Swedish FM, Dutch Socialist Party leader says 'outrage' over 'Palestinian-Israel conflict' caused ISIS to attack French citizens.http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/203543Following on the heels of the Swedish foreign minister, the chairman of the Dutch Socialist Party in the Netherlands justified the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists who conducted Saturday's brutal attacks in Paris that left 129 dead, blaming it on "frustration" at Israel.
According to Jan Marijnissen, the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs somehow ignited the attack on French civilians at cafes, show venues, soccer stadiums and restaurants.
“Their behavior eventually is connected also to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict," claimed Marijnissen in an interview with the Dutch NPO Radio1 on Monday.
"The guys – I assume they were guys – who carried out the attacks probably come from a group of outraged people from the French suburbs,” he said, claiming the conflict in Israel "is the growth medium for such an attack.”
The party head's shocking justification echoes that of Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom, who on Monday said, "to counteract the radicalization we must go back to the situation such as the one in the Middle East of which not the least the Palestinians see that there is no future: we must either accept a desperate situation or resort to violence."
Foreign Ministry Director General Dr. Dore Gold summoned Swedish ambassador Carl Magnus-Nesser Monday to reprimand him over the comments, saying, "any connection between ISIS terrorism and the Palestinian issue is baseless, and the words might be interpreted as a justification for Palestinian terrorism."
Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) said that the comments were "blatant and vile anti-Semitism" and equivalent to "blood libel."
