Rubio is very close to Trump. VERY bad news for Trump.  This scenario (Cruz win and Rubio almost beating Trump) was not expected!  Great news for Cruz... for now. The establishment will now get 100% behind Rubio. IF Carson drops out that will help Cruz, sadly he probably will not drop out.

Have you noticed how much coverage Rubio is receiving from the completely despicable Fox News? Ted Cruz is hardly acknowledged and he won! Clearly Rubio is the establishment's choice.

Clearly he is, but in one sense this could help Cruz. If Rubio beats Bush in NH then Bush probably will drop out, If Bush drops out this should help Cruz more than the others. Kasich would drop out also if Rubio beats him, that may help Rubio though. Both those scenarios will Hurt Trump which is good for Cruz. If Cruz wins SC then I assume Carson will drop out. Now that would REALLY help Cruz. Hopefully Carson will drop out ASAP.

So back to NH. It really does not matter what place Cruz comes in. If he wins then that is HUGE, but that is probably impossible. If he comes in 2nd then that is better than originally expected so that is also good. If Trump does not win then he will lose momentum. If Rubio wins then it probably is better than Trump winning... maybe.  NH should be very interesting.  Again, the next big test for Cruz is South Carolina which is not as big of a must win as Iowa was, but pretty close.

On the Dem side Clinton probably won tonight, but it was a great showing for Sanders. Since he is from VT he probably will win NH. Then it is on to the South. If Clinton feels challenged then she will pull the race card on Sanders and say he is a racist. She may not even need to do that with all the blind follower black people who love the Clintons no matter what. In theory the southern states should give her momentum to crush Sanders. If that does not happen then the communist Sanders will have a shot which is horrifying. That many Democrats don't give a darn if this country turns into a bankrupt socialist hole.

Sanders is much easier if it were just a one on one fight. Sadly if he wins then Bloomberg will probably run as an independent and that (in theory at least) could be a problem. I agree with Daniel Greenfield's opinion that no one wants to vote for Bloomberg, and him running would be pointless. I don't think it will affect anything.

I don't for a second believe Clinton won't pull something off and win. She couldn't have picked better candidates to make her look sane and honest in comparison. Besides, Bernie supporters, like Trumpkins, don't vote. Bernie clearly visited the homes of the 10 families with democrats in them that vote in Iowa, but all the information I've seen points to him loosing.

Dyke Doomberg is a clone of Trump. I'm not sure Sanders would be easier, he doesn't have decades of corruption/scandal/lying to drag him down. Most people see him as a "good guy" even if they recognize his Commie Nazi policies as lunacy.

Like everyone else here,  I'm thrilled with Ted Cruz winning in Iowa.   Cruz had a tremendous organization in Iowa and is a terrific candidate both in terms of positions and skills.  With support from people like Glenn Beck,  that helped offset and then-some the Sarah Palin endorsement for Donald Trump.   

As for New Hampshire,  my realistic hope is that Ted Cruz gets at least 15 % of the vote.   Barring something unexpected,  this is shaping up as a 3 candidate race for the Republican Nomination.

I was once one of Sarah Palin's most passionate supporters.   I'm very disappointed that Sarah Palin endorsed Donald Trump.  But the results in Iowa display that her clout with most Conservatives is a thing of the past.   Great video!
