People should look for clips of the 1968 Democratic Convention on Youtube. The 2016 Republican convention and the events that take place outside in Cleveland should be similar to what happened in 1968 in Chicago.

This site is very good. It does indeed show right now that Trump would have a hard time beating Hillary but that Cruz would stand a better chance against her.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/

Unfortunately right now it also shows that Trump is probably going to win every state tomorrow except for Ohio and it's close on that one. Cruz doesn't look like he's going to win any of them.

If there is a third party candidate then that will guarantee that Hillary will win and I think that would be stupid to even try that honestly.

Trump certainly was not my first choice. I voted for Cruz in Texas and he won Texas, but he's been a big failure in many ways since. I honestly don't know if he could beat Hillary either. And if Cruz was the nominee, there's no guarantee that Trump wouldn't start his own independent run and take votes away from Cruz.

We are up against a nightmare scenario so I think what we need to do is begin to break down issues where Hillary and Trump the same and what they are different on. I know JTF as an organization can never support Trump but I think as individuals we need to decide (if we're not going to sit this out) whether or not we can vote for one of the candidates knowing that both are not what we would have chosen.

Israel
Trump: Terrible
Hillary: Terrible

Abortion
Trump: Claims to be pro-life, but supports funding Planned Parenthood
Hillary: 100% in favor of abortion on demand

Gay marriage/LGBT agenda
Trump: Flip flopper on the issue. Sometimes he's for it, sometimes against it. GLAAD doesn't seem very pleased with him though: http://www.glaad.org/trump
Hillary: Used to be against gay marriage but now is 100% in favor of expanding LGBT special privileges

Immigration
Trump: Claims to want to build a border wall, claims to want to limit Muslim immigration, claims to want to deport illegal aliens
Hillary: Supports path to citizenship for illegals, and keeping families together, and closing private immigration detention centers

Snowden
Trump: Will not pardon Snowden
Hillary: Will not pardon Snowden

Re-electability
Trump: If elected by both conservatives and liberals, he will need to pander at least a little to the conservatives to get re-elected after four years. He probably won't [censored] the Republican base by nominating his sister for the Supreme Court right away or anything else that would turn all conservatives against him.
Hillary: Will only have to pander to her liberal base. Obama never wavered from his liberalism and it did not hurt him at all.

We are under deception.   Trump is not going to beat Hillary Clinton, this is the time when truth matters.   Hillary and Trump are not going to get a different result or restore America, no different than what we have had for the last 8 years.

What a terrible post.

Ted cruz has been disappointing??what planet are you on. Hes been sensational. Hes had every news media, including fox against him, hes had the gop completely against him, hes ran unpopular campaigns such as in iowa on ethanol and farmer subsidies, and hes ONLY 90 DELEGATES BEHIND DONALD TRUMP!!

Do have any understanding of polls, maths, delegates. If you understood this process, you would realise that once cruz goes heads up with trump he destroys him.

Cruz is currently almost beating rubio i his home state, and only 6 behind kasich in ohio.

Ill predict this cruz will win missouri, he will finish close second in ohio, close second in illnois, close second in north carolina. I think kasich will win ohio.

Tommorow rubio will be done, even if he wins florida, hes run out of money.
