Lets face it a lot of these Russians coming into Israel are not Jews  or gentile's descended from Jews & not identifying with being Jewish.Same thing about a lot of the Russians in Brighton Beach & other parts of NY.A lot of them are actually Russian Orthodox Christian.If you lived in a $#!+Hole like Soviet & post-Soviet Russia you would say a lot of things to get out to a better place too.They also carried with them alot of Anti-Semitism so there is no surprise.

These russians are a disease. It is looking more like the mass aliyah of soviet "Jewry" is one of Israel's greatest mistakes, probably second only to not removing the arabs. If a decision is made to deport these russians, then all russians that are not halachically Jewish should be deported as well. Perhaps such actions will awaken the Jews of Israel to remove the arabs as well.

 I supported the mass aliyah from the then USSR & E.Europe myself in the  '70's/'80's because there were good people there who really had to leave in order to have the freedom to lead a decent & Jewish life.Meir Kahane & other Jewish activists supported this as well.It was all about good intentions & it did a lot of good.
The problem was that along with the good people a lot of the criminal scum of Russia  were able to worm their way in as well. This is why we have a Russian "Mafia" in NYC & Israel,because a lot of the "Garbage" was not screened out.In addition Jail is not that much of a deterrent as those who survived the soviet jails(Much worse than here or Israel) could care less about a few years upstate in Sing-Sing.Check out the "Rasputin" night club on Coney Island Ave,BKLYN.It must be their Headquarters.
