Addicted to oil

On Oliver North's "War Stories", some people admitted that oil has been funding terrorism.  Cheney was even interviewed for a brief moment and he mentioned how it's important to stop funding terrorism; but he wouldn't say that there must be energy independence from foreign oil.  He is addicted to oil.
