Theres hardly any difference in price between broadband and dial-up these days, its not worth the pain of having to wait.

Before we got DSL we had free dial-up. When our modem dies, it happens, we use free dial up.

They have to give us notice.  It's the law. By the 15th of the month before it kicks in.  We were notfied on Dec. 15.  So, Happy New Year from Big Six Towers!!  That's when it kicks in.

Sadly things get more expensive to run each day. The up keep on complexes like that must be astronomical. Heating bills alone would bankrupt many poorly structured developments. I hate to say it no matter where you live a private house or apartment its the rare exception when you find a place where the rent or upkeep stays the same year after year. When I bought my home 15 years ago the taxes were $3000 dollars today they are over $9000 who do I complain to. Add to this oil bills that use to be 59 cents a gallon and now are $2.95 a gallon. Last week I had 250 gallons delivered a third of a tank and it was well over 700 bucks. Forget about electric bills and just the up keep of the place in general. The sad fact is prices go up and we just have to pay or move to cheaper digs.

Because the rent is so high now, the elderly people are slowly moving out and Kregler is using the old sterotype that "Jews are cheap with money" and refusing to pay this much for rent and moving-in fees.
