I know of the league, but didn't follow it quite closely other than a stray article here and there.  From what I remember, one team (the Blue Sox I think) was the best all year, but I'm not sure if they won the championship.  I also know the league was struggling financially, as not many Israelis seem to have taken to baseball right away.  They do plan to come back next year though, at least for now.
