Point was - I am not quite sure how you missed it - color does not matter since we are all created in G-ds image, since it is obviously not a physical image it MUST be a spiritual one. Chaim has said many times that when he says "apes" he is ONLY referring to those who follow the evil, IQ lowering, "Gangsta" culture.  The majority of those people happen to be Black.  That doesn't mean the world doesn't have its fair share of Wangstas, though. 

Although I think it's often an accurate description, I do however think that calling evil people things like "ape" is very counterproductive - because to someone who's not familiar with Chaim or the JTF, it can seem very reminiscent of the inbred hicks who like to call themselves the Ku Klux Klan.
