No, it is not a lot, but the point you are missing just as was missed elsewhere, is that, with the exception of John McCain he got more than quite a few of the other pro war "support the troops" candidates(2,600 or less) combined.
What does it tell you when even U.S. troops are willing to give more monetary support to the only anti war candidate among the GOP?

It is not terribly surprising to think that a decent amount of troops want to get out of this mess. Certainly the ones with half a brain are well aware by now that they were completely manipulated.
