As of last night,  in addition to Michael Bennett,  3 other players that were scheduled to go on this trip are not going:

Knowing what I do about these, players,  I'm not surprised that the Bennets and Kenny Stills backed out of the trip,  as they are the polar opposite of what JTF stands for.  I am surprised that Justin Forsett backed out.  He quotes bible passages and doesn't seem like the black militant type that the other 3 players are.  Of the 4 players,  he's the one who might eventually realize that he made a mistake.



On the other hand,  this is what Hall of Fame RB Curtis Martin said after he went to Israel a couple of years ago.   Curtis Martin is a class act,   who overcame a very dangerous neighborhood growing up in Pittsburgh.

On Saturday, Denver Broncos’s Forsett retweeted Bennett’s letter with a post saying: “For those who are wondering I will not be on this trip to Israel.”
 
He later indicated that he and his wife had decided against the trip some weeks ago because of the anticipated birth of their child.
