Donald Trump is probably going to get most of the blame for the parties pushing for a so called ' two state solution'.   Though there's no excuse for a leader of a country to push for such an agreement,  knowing that it can lead to horrific consequences,   most of the blame should apparently be placed on Bibi Netanyahu.   If another country did what Netanyahu is doing,  charges of treason would be a very realistic possibility.

Lisa, though it could differ amongst the individuals,  the two that jump out as the most likely are as follows;

1.  They're self hating and lack guts.

That reminds me of Sharon continuing to act Leftist even after Peres left his first government. He showed his true colors and acted Leftist even though he didn't have to anymore since he no longer had a "national unity government".

Everyone thought Sharon was a big war hero who would destroy the PA but he ended up being worse than Barak. But Sharon actually claimed he wanted to bring "peace" in the 2001 Election. That's like Bibi saying he supports a "two state solution". In the case of Sharon, there was no choice other than him since it was a special PM Election since Barak resigned so Labor could keep its Knesset seats after Sharon took over. It was just Barak or Sharon. But there are no direct elections for PM anymore so people had many choices other than Bibi and Likud.
